The best rate for euro buyers in almost seven years!

Sterling has achieved its best levels against the euro in the last seven years as the possibility of launch of a Quantitative Easing programme by the European Central bank (ECB) grows stronger.

The movement follows a ruling by the European Court of Justice which allows the ECB to act broadly when facing economic crises in the European Union. Based on this the ECB could start printing new money via purchasing government bonds, in an attempt to flood liquidity into stagnant economies.

This has created a perfect scenario for euro buyers with a rate of exchange on the Sterling-Euro that this morning has hit the €1.30 levels.
